一辆被烧毁的小型客车被安装在其内部的大约六十个针孔摄像头包裹，它们的镜头从各个角度捕捉“ 现场” 的实况影像，被实时投射在汽车残骸后的墙上，从而营造出类似电视新闻直播的效果 。观众在观看汽车残骸的同时，也在大屏幕上看到车子周围—包括他们自己— 的影像。这辆烧焦的车既是过往事件的证据，也是现场在场的物证。
A small, burnt-out passenger van is installed with 60 pinhole cameras facing outwards on all sides, capturingimagery of the“ live”sitefrom all angles, whichis projectedin realtime on the wall behind the wreckage of the car, providing a live report that appropriates conventions of television reportage. As viewers inspectthe carwreckage, they alsoseethe car’ssurroundings onthe large screens, including images of themselves. The burnt-out car is the evidence of an incident that occurred at sometime in the past, as well as a witness to the live scene.
