视频由四个部分构成:a.剖鸡和清除内脏:用剪刀剪开去毛后的鸡体,取出内脏、肢解翅膀、腿和 头;b.不断撕开鸡肉;c. 不断舔鸡肉;d.不断将鸡肉塞入嘴里咀嚼。 由悬挂的显像管电视机、者着鸡汤 的铝锅、电炉构成装置。电炉和铝锅散放在电视机前方的地面，电炉用微火煮着展览开幕前 加工好的鸡汤,每天加水，直至展览结束(即作品标题所标明的时间) 。电视机组成的装置会传出很低的背景声：《春江花月夜》 。
The video consists of four parts: A, cutting and gutting a chicken: using scissors to cut open a de- feathered chicken, gut it, and remove wings, legs and head; B, constantly cutting off chicken meat; C, constantly licking the chicken meat;D,constantly putting the chicken meat in the mouth and chewing it. The installation consists of suspended CRT TVs, and aluminum pots cooking chicken soup on hot plates. The pots and hot plates are placed on the ground in front of the TVs,and are cooking pre-prepared chicken soup on low heat. Water is added every day until the exhibition ends (the date in the title). The TV installation plays the song“Springtime River Blossoms Under a Moonlit Night”softly in the background.
